Uncorrected machine reading. This text was read by machine (Apple Vision OCR) from a scan of a newspaper page, and the page was cut into articles by machine, at the headlines found by their type size. Nothing has been corrected: expect misread words, text from a neighbouring article, and titles that are the machine reading of the headline, some of them only fragments. Quote from the scan, not from this page.
How this article was cut and titled: headline found by type size in the OCR geometry (split_tabloid.py); 6-6 of 6; machine-segmented newspaper page; uncorrected Vision OCR.

better than it's ever been before.
The final week's post brought us another E97 - Including E24.75 from Reading IMG, another E11.05 from London IMG, E10 from Bristol IMG, and so many smaller donations that it's impossible to list them all here. Thank you all. comrades, so very much.
That made the final total for June a magnificent £365.59 But even though this total was better than it's ever been before, wo have to admit that there's still some way to go if we're to transform the paper into the 12-pager our move ment so desperately needs by the autumn.
So let's try to up that figure still further for July, and see if we can't make it this time to a firm £400, Send donations to: RED WEEKLY FUND DRIVE, 97 Caledonian Rd. London N.1.
